DO NOT BE UPSET BY THE WEIGHT.

When you start losing weight, it is often because of a medical condition that causes you to gain or lose a significant amount of weight as the amount of food you eat increases and your metabolism slows down. Your body may need to work harder to burn stored fat and maintain a healthy metabolism to help with this process. This is why it is important, sometimes necessary to talk to a health care professional about these concerns. The main cause of your weight gain is due to medical conditions but another reason can be environmental, such as being overweight before having children or living in someone who makes more food than you do. I know that you are wondering if you should make changes to your diet or lifestyle. You may feel this way if you have an eating disorder but those individuals should not worry about losing weight. As long as they follow all of the recommendations provided by their health care provider for proper diets and exercise, along with following any medications given by doctors. The most common reason people turn to food in order to lose weight is because of a medical condition. In addition, many people turn to food to cope with stressful emotions. Those who suffer from depression also find comfort in food and find that food provides them with a
great feeling that they cannot get from anything else. Many patients also find that food makes them feel better and that they feel like a part of a community. Even though most people who seek out food to help with weight loss tend to focus on gaining weight instead of losing it, sometimes the opposite can happen. If you find yourself constantly turning to food for emotional relief and even when you want to shed pounds, it's important to remember that those who need to lose weight may be able to lose them just by trying to. There are thousands of ways to cope with stress and other negative emotions. It would be difficult for everyone to find one method that works best for every individual. That is not to say that some methods won't work for everyone and not everyone will use them, but some of us need to try them all. There are many sources of stress that will eat you up, however, there are also things that will take your mind off of what you care about to focus on something else. For example, if you are having severe anxiety, then you may struggle with sleep due to fears of getting killed and the fear of what others will think of you as you go about your life. On top of that, you may suffer from chronic disease and the complications of it can make life very hard for you. Some of these conditions can affect the entire body and others only affect one area of the brain, making life so complicated and overwhelming that you will easily forget about losing weight. If I am having problems losing weight, my doctor may prescribe me medication and other measures to deal with this. However, these drugs are only temporary solutions that are only helpful for short periods of time. They just aren't as effective in helping you to lose weight as they could for someone without the disease. I have tried many different meds and none of them worked. One that did was called Propranolol or Xanax. These were both good medicines at first but I soon found out that my doctor wanted me to stop using them because they didn't contain enough fattening ingredients that I needed to lose weight. I switched back to Zoloft and still am on it today. Once I started taking Zoloft I stopped putting myself through this hell. There is no denying that there are plenty of side effects to this type of treatment though. My doctor stopped giving me prescription pills that made me feel sick and depressed whenever I took them in order to lose weight but I was never going to give in. Eventually, after much trial and error, I came to realize that I had a lot of weight to lose and nothing was working with it. I have been told a number of times by doctors that they would like to help me lose weight because they think I am suffering from another illness or may be overdoing it with nutrition. My mom said that she didn't tell anyone because she thought I would die soon anyway. So, I figured I needed to figure out a way to live and I can't blame her. She's probably right. I have struggled since childhood and I didn't know what to do with the food that was placed in front of me without proper guidance and recommendations. I couldn't eat whatever I wanted because my mother wouldn't allow me to because I had diabetes. It's easy to become addicted to food and the stress brought on by this lifestyle is pretty big on my mental health as well as physical. Though it feels like a death sentence, I finally gave in and made an attempt at losing weight. Now, I will tell you all the secret things I learned along the way to help you lose weight without harming your body. These secrets can open doors for you, especially as you are struggling with your own issues

1. Keep track of your calories per day. Tracking your calorie intake is a great way of keeping track of your progress during the journey. Set goals and keep them realistic.

 2. Don't forget about water! Hydration is essential for our bodies to function properly. Drink eight glasses of water each day or in between meals and before bed. Water keeps your body healthy and keeps your blood sugar levels down. A balanced diet isn't all fruits and vegetables, but all things are better when you drink plenty of water.

3. Start small. Start slow and build slowly. Stick to 10-15 pounds a month in order to get into the habit of consistently trying to lose weight. If you don't like the size of it, you won't stick to that kind of pace. Try to get your legs underneath you instead of the butt and shoulders and see how far you can go.

 4. Learn to ask for help for what you want, when you want to help yourself even when it seems impossible or overwhelming. Be assertive when you go to therapy, friends, family members, or other sources. Learning to identify that you're doing everything you can to lose weight might seem like the hardest thing in the world, but it doesn't have to be.

5. Exercise regularly. Make sure you are working out at least three times per week at a minimum in order to burn fat and make any improvements that you can make on the body. Losing muscle mass can be tough to recover from and while you do everything you can to keep that from happening, it still happens. Work out in public, with an experienced partner that knows how to love working out with you. Most likely he will also tell you about his favorite exercises or activities that he enjoys doing to stay fit.

 6. Keep your goals realistic. If you are hoping to lose four pounds a week instead of two, you are not going to beat yourself up if you don't do it. Your body is not going to respond well to sudden changes to your diet and exercise habits. And, if you are a big coffee drinker you may become dependent on alcohol which can lead to an unhealthy relationship with your body that is constantly craving sugar but never feels hungry yet. Having a balance is key and you shouldn't put too many limits on yourself. Remember that you deserve to lose weight if you have an eating disorder but never feel like it's really a problem in the first place.
